CHARLES (CHIP) HARRIS, III
PRESIDENT/COO
Mr. HARRIS's 24 years of water treatment experience is focused principally on applications of membrane technology. He has been involved in over 40 projects world wide, with assignments ranging from full plant design, construction, commissioning and operations. Many of these projects have been in successful operation for over 15 years, and Mr. Harris has in many cases been involved in multiple projects for the same owner.
Mr. Harris has worked with membrane-based systems since the mid 1970’s. His initial experiences were followed by work with a membrane / ion exchange systems group in Texas, several years with membrane system OEM’s such as Basic Technologies and Hydropro, Inc. of Florida, several years with Advanced Membrane Systems of Virginia and a good deal of time specializing in the processes of energy recovery for brackish and seawater membrane systems.
Mr. Harris is a member in good standing with the American Water Works Association (AWWA), American Membrane Technology Association (AMTA), International Desalination Association (IDA) and the Southeast Desalting Association (SEDA). He has authored and presented over 14 papers at international desalination symposiums since 1994.
